I rescued a very aggressive feral cat from the humane shelter. He would sit in the middle of the room and violently attack any cat that came near him. Then after about a month he moved over to the rooms corner. The next week he was on a shelf. It was at this time I realized his spirit was dying and that if no one took him, he would to. I brought him home and the first thing he did was bite through my hand. That's right, through my hand. It took a little time but he became one of the best, most loyal, cats that I've every had. If someone had offered a million dollars for him, I would have turned it down.

breaks my heart to know that had she listened to the people at the shelter, joey would have probably never come out of his shell (shelters usually can't provide this kind of focused care/this much effort) and would've kept living in fear, sad and unloved... :( lovely kitty, wonderful human ❤️

I just want to say thank you for taking care of the little dude and letting him have a happy life...almost cried because of thinking of other cats/dogs etc. generally and the ones that have to life with such impairments in the wild Love u lil t-rex! And of course every other animal!

A lot of these people who label these animals as agressive don't know a thing about what they're talking about,it's the same with dogs...they don't have the patience to let the animal just blossom,they want the animals to be what they consider normal right away,not taking into consideration how the animal feels,yes,FEELS,some of these poor lovebugs have gone thru a lot,some are abandoned,others have been beaten and abused....put yourself in their situation and see if you'd trust anyone or if you'd want to be friendly with them right away not knowing who or how they are and if they mean you no harm....it takes time and patience to gain trust and to make them feel safe.

I have my highest respect to this kind of people who would take care of animal in such conditions when mostly people don't want to have anything to do with the animal when we encountered one in such bad conditions. And looking at how great they turned to be making me respect them more. It's so heartwarming.

I wish I had a Cat...😭😭😭but ain't getting one I tried, I told my dad that I would keep it in my room but then he went and took away my room saying that privacy was making me a bad person. When I'll move out then I will adopt a stray kitten and take care of her all my life. It's still around 6 years left when I'll be capable leaving my parents but it'll happen. I love animals

This cat isn’t feral. Feral cats don’t meow in carriers, they’re as silent as can be so as to not attract attention. I’m glad this cutie finally got the love he clearly was so starved for.

nuhhhhh that is not a feral cat. feral cats aren't very vocal and they shy away from humans and even if they are aggressive they are only when they are cornered. this is just a stray cat. trust me i have owned a feral cat, all she did was "exist" in the house, avoided us, left the house for days on end came back to eat and hide from the rain or sleep somewhere under the furniture and never allowed anyone close enough to pick her up let alone "pet her" she was rarely vocal towards us but protected her "territory' by picking fights with all the neighbors cats and even dogs and made certain that nothing was allowed in the area that she didn't want. she was also a big cat, a short hair calico but muscular, way larger than an average house cat and very confrontational with prey animals. she even would leave large animals like squirrels or blue jays on the front lawn for us kinda like her version of a rent payment i guess. none of these traits i see in this cat, this cat was socialized as a kitten and is afraid yeah but very able to be in a home.

The shelter that said he was aggressive probably didn't know how to take care of cats and didn't have the patience to make him feel safe :( I feel so bad he's such a sweet boy
